In the offseason, Jacksonville -Yaguars passed the full renewal of their front -office, starting with one of the youngest NFL general managers in James Gladstone and the youngest main coaches in Cohen Liam.
Gladston, only 34 years, of course, has its own way of innovation, since the jaguars are trying to fix the franchise, which has just won AFK south three years ago. One of these methods is the borrowing of the strategy of the general manager of Los -Angeles Rams Forest Snower.
Like the rams, the jaguars did not have any of the 30 people this year, and did not plan to have them.
“I think there are many layers so as not to make those visits at an object that you are probably used to, or these 30 best visits, how they are formulated,” said Gladston regarding the absence of 30 top-30 in Jacksonville. “But it goes for a while for me and my experience.”
Gladston began with Rams in 2016 as an assistant Les Snead, and then was appointed senior assistant general manager in 2018 and the director of the intelligence strategy team in 2019. He was also the director of scout, while the SPI was the general director.
Jaguars bring the Front -Office of Rams to the franchise. There is a method of madness of the absence of a visit to the TOP-30.
“Think, let’s take it in this direction, implicit bias that can be expected at the end of the process,” said Gladston. “The last player you can sit with, and how it may differ from the first player with whom you sit down, knowing that he is closer to the solution that will be upcoming.”
RAMS had no choice in the first round in most cases when Gladston was with a franchise, choosing Just Jared Goff (2016) and Jared Steih (2024). Gladston was supposed to make homework with most elections taking place on the 2nd and 3rd day, and uses the same process to evaluate talent in Jacksonville.

Jaguars also keep things close to the vest. They do not want to give what kind of commands the indicator of what they are doing.
“There are other mechanisms that we tend to help us determine whether the player is actually more suitable for us than just the only touch point that will be a visit to the top 30,” said Gladston. “We have many additional mechanisms that we deploy that do not necessarily expose us to the rest of the world to know in which direction we are moving, because so often they become public points of sensory points, and at that moment you sacrifice some version of the strategy also to the draft.”
