Jason Kels explains why Travis was not compiled earlier, gives advice to players such as Sideur Sanders who fell

Leading to the NFL draft and in the next weeks, when the players are chosen, is the main topic for conversation. This can lead to some heartbreaking moments for the promising prospects, which were taken later than they hoped.

However, where someone is compiled, far from the only sign of the impact that the player can have in the league.

These are not always the best elections that turn into stars, and again and again we saw how late draft and faulty players become the faces of the NFL. The champions of the Super Cup Trevis Kels, the hard end for the leaders of Kansas-City, and Jason Kels, the legend of Philadelphia Igels, are two players who know this story too well, like later rounds who have become stellar.

They sat on their “new heights” podcast to discuss their view of the project, explaining that, falling further than they believe that they deserve, can first disappoint, this is an experience that can be used as fuel.

Travis was the third round in 2013, took No. 63 as a whole, and there were fears around him when he entered his beginner in his year. He was suspended in the second year at the University of Cincinnati after he failed the drug test regarding the use of marijuana. Jason believes that if not for some situations outside the field, his younger brother would be developed earlier.

“The funniest in the herbs was that there were nothing for injuries, I think you had two things,” Jason said, the choice in the sixth round in 2011. “You had several injuries, and then you obviously had marijuana stirring from your second year.”

Jason believes that Travis would be the second round without additional noise.

“You were probably designed by a whole round later than you were supposed to. I just think that sometimes it’s funny, looking back, and there are all these fears about Travis Kels, and that’s all – who knew you – knew that you are a great child. You just ran into weeds. Sorry. And then suddenly, the teams do not choose you. ”

Travis in the past said that the suspension ultimately brought positive changes for his football career: the transition to his current position. He played a defender, and although the team said that he could return to the team, this will be in a different role.

“It was like:“ Well, you can come to the team, but we don’t need a defender, ”Kels recalls. “You can just be an athlete in the scout team during the year, we will find out.”

Travis has become one of the largest stars in the League and, possibly, the best limited end in the history of NFL, with 10 Pro Bowl elections, four elections of the first ALL-PRO team and three super-cup titles.

The NFL Draw 2025 saw one of the most amazing slides that the event is visible when the defender of Colorado Speeer Sanders fell into the fifth roundOf course, this is not where Kvoturbek expected or wanted to go, but for players like Sanders, Jason jokes that they have a chance for the major, “I told you, the moment.”

“I just want everyone who falls in a draft for any problem with the character, if he deleted it when he deleted, they should just do it exactly the same as in relation to the character,” Jason said. “You only had to sign your second deal with the stupid in your hand, smoking it as a sign of paper.”

Jason was a lifelong eagle and resigned at the end of the 2023 season as a champion of a Super Cup. Travis enters his 13th season in the NFL, all spent with the leaders.

They collided with each other in the LVIII Super Cup, and Travis was on the victorious side. Travis again fought with the eagles in the Super Cup to complete the 2024 season, this time with his brother in the stands and eagles, raising the trophy of Lombardi.
