Will we ever see how John Jones fights with Tom Aspinall for the UFC heavyweight title? How long are we ready to wait before moving on and accusing Jones of that he refused us the only struggle that matters to the unit? In addition, on Saturday, the strongest person in the world fights (again), and this should be … memorable.
All this and much more in the mail of this week. To ask your own question, hit @benfowlkesmma or @benfowlkes.bsky.social.
@Beastin364: Ariel’s last update made him sound like John Jones is the only one who was in the way of the Aspinolla battle. At what point should the UFC accept that he will never do this and move on?

This summer. If this summer comes and leaves, and the UFC looks at the autumn calendar, in which John Jones is not against Tom Aspinall for an indisputable UFC in heavy weight, it should be. Forget it. Move on. Remove Jones from a heavy belt and ask Aspinall to fight with someone else for the real one.
Jones had his own chance to say “yes” – or give some signs that he is ready to protect his belt from the only reasonable enemy for this – and if he allows the main part of 2025, without agreeing with this, then we must admit that he deliberately avoids this. Only he knows why. I cannot force myself to believe that Jones is actually afraid of Aspinall. But at some point it does not matter why. This is a fight. Either you are going to do it or not.
And if he decides to go not? Sorry that it will be, but it will be a long spot on Jones’s already complex heritage. Fans will remember how he insisted on fighting the old and ring version of Stipe Miocic instead of protecting the heavyweight title against a temporary champion. They will remember that when it came to two large battles with two large people – Aspinall and Francis Ngann – both Jones fought from them.

His summary in half -burned weight is still making him one of the best for all the time, but if he leaves the sport in this way, it can be all that we need to consider Jones as something superfluous. A best.
@Jedkmeshew: on the cost scale 4BLES to CRANK 2: High voltage, as you are excited for PUDZ vs. Eddie Hall? I myself, at least, at the beekeeper, if not a full bloated crookeder 2.
I am very pleased to say that I have not seen any of these films, but yes, you know, I will watch Marius Pudzian against Eddie Hall on Saturday afternoon. Just a pure physical quantity of this. Muscles. Hard, awkward blows. Gas tanks that will be devastated during the first minute. This is pure entertainment.
In addition, KSW always gives its fans of the show. You set up on one of these events, and it looks like a large, loud, stupid spectacle – exactly what combat sport should be. Then you add vascular humanity by almost 600 pounds in the main attractiveness, and you yourself get a success recipe.
@Ryan_harkness: Mac v. Chandler on UFC 317 – crazy or crazy, like a fox

First of all, Conor McGregor is probably never fighting UFC again. He is too busy, pretending to be going to run for the presidency of Ireland on the platform, which, if it is adopted by other countries, will mean that he basically never should go on vacation, seeing how he has the habit of committing crimes on foreign lands.
Secondly, let’s admit that at the moment, Michael Chandler is deeply damaged goods. He is 2-5 in UFC. He was absolutely destroyed by Paddie Pimblett. His beating would not even be so impressive for McGregor right now, and yet the version of McGregor 2025 is so far from this life and, probably, in form, that he could be those who are easy UFC, that Cendler could still potentially win.
Honestly? If McGregor decided to return, it would be almost more problems than it costs for Matchmakers UFC. Since they will be entrusted to find the enemy, he could get victory.
@Worldsworshero: What is it in UFC/MMA, which has surprised you over the past ten years? In addition, something is amazing?

The degree in which the UFC saved from this sport surprised me. Having placed each fighter in the same clothing, limiting exciting or creative entrances, making it difficult for fighters and fighters to act as individuals – all this surprises me from the company that produces live events.
Perhaps this is because the UFC considers itself rather a company for the production of content than in a living entertainment product today. The company’s leaders learned how to make more money for a less interesting product, and this was a poor development for both fans and fighters. This required the interest of fans for granted and made the fighters more interchangeable.
UFC is a well-greased machine that now produces a very consistent product, but also McDonald’s. There is a similarity and softness in this, and this is not very fun, even if it is very profitable.
What is not surprising is how much better all the fighters are now. And not only champions, but in almost all directions. The skills range, general athletism, innovation in tactics and methods – all this is at a much higher level than ten years ago. I feel that we expected it to some extent and told ourselves that this would happen. Now this is really, really.
@Mike_fierce: Can Pardy the Baddy really be really?!? Or is it 7-0 UFC records a mirage?!?

You can save the paper tiger in the UFC for so long. In the end, if the skills are not, it will be exposed. The opposite happened to Paddy Pimblet. The more we see him, the better he seems to become. He looked impressive in his victory over Chandler, especially in some areas where he fought in the past. At the moment, we must give a person his due.
@nickj812: How would Fedor play against Randy? (And will I get MMA someday something like that, sorry …. Eeeeeeeeen?)
He feels that there are too many MMA filler there with a small number of battles / events in order to actually take care of.
Randy Kutyur was 44 years old when he “resigned” as an UFC champion in heavyweight to fight with the Federal Federal Emelianenko. This is my way to say, I would have chosen Fedor then.
The strength, speed and power of the Russian language would be too much for this version of Couture. I also do not think that Couture could rely on reaching Klinch and reaching on the ground, that there was his path to victory in most battles. Couture never had such power power, but Emelianenko did it very much. They both would earn a lot of money, but Couture would finish the night, looking at the light.
@Uutoheartredcord: What is it to look at the full ass … a year after the best mania of consensus forever?

I did not watch the full Wrestlemania, probably six or seven years, and I really liked it … up to the main event of the second night. John Sina and Cody Ruds did not reach such a great excitement as the headliner of the previous night. Obviously, the more you create something, the more you need to deliver in order not to feel like a disappointment. And it is simply impossible to convince me that the unexpected look from Travis Scott is quite good.
Before that, I had a great time. And I have to thank all the great writers, the Uncrondend Bogans. Reading and help edit their stories in the week that preceded this event, really forced me to pump up, and also gave me the context that I needed to get into interest. Now, if you excuse me, I need to go order yourself a Seth Rollins T -shirt.
@Mred315: What would friends and family say about you – better – BeathFace or heel?
The heel for sure. I can’t remove the role of BabyFace. In the best case, I am a heel that temporarily speak in the alliance of mutual benefits with a favorite children’s face, only to betray it in the end, when I can no longer focus on its stated positiveness and desperate need for wide public approval. I will also insist that my input music includes my own terribly non -rising singing, just to angry people.
