In this off -season, Seattle signed the former Vikings starting QB Sam Darnold in a free agency after the exchange of starter Jeno Smith at Las Vegas Raiders.
Hauwell, who spent the 2024 season with Seattle as a backup of Smith, will now be in his third team for four seasons in the League. The former UNC defender began his career at the Washington Commanders; Now he will join JJ McCarthy in Minnesota.
Seahawks raised another backup defender, Alabama Jalen Milro, in the third round of the draft on Friday, making Hauwell. Drew Lock and Jaren Hall are completing the rest of the Seattle defender.

Accepting Hauella, Vikings, in the visible one, close the idea of signing the free agent Aaron Rogers. The Vikings were a potential team for the Quvotherback veteran after the Darnold loss, but at this stage the starting QB starting is less likely to be needed.
Pittsburgh Stylers seems to be the best place for landing for Rogers – although this opportunity can also be contracted. During the Vikings trade, Stilers had not yet taken the quota in the draft, but later took QB OHIO Willa Howard in the sixth round.
Although the owner of Pittsburgh, Art Runi II, certainly showed interest in the introduction of Rogers, like the head coach Mike Tomlin, it seems that he decides to make Rogers, who spent his time on his football future.
